TPA6130A2: I2C communication is worked properly, but no audio output

Can you share more information about your setup? A schematic would be helpful. Do you have two amplifiers connected to one headphone channel?

The circuit is followed shown in datasheet, only output of both amplifiers are short together to one HP.

I also program single amplifier to active, another to hiZ. there is no HP out too,

I cut the share output, the amplifier work on stand alone only.

Is there any accessory design to get the share output working? Any recommended IC for this configuration?

Oh I see. You are only driving one amplifier at a time. Putting one device in HiZ should allow this. 

From the datasheet: "Note that to use the HiZ mode, the TPA6130A2 MUST be active (not in SWS or hardware shutdown). Furthermore, the output amplifiers must NOT be enabled." Can you confirm the HiZ device is aligned with the above specifications?

I already confirm even one of the amplifier is set to HiZ, there is still no output.

I modified the design put in series output capacitor to all the output of amplifier, the HPout will have output even both amplifier are enables.

I am still verifying the design.

I believe for this setting the device should be active but the amplifier should be disabled, not enabled. Can you try this?

Place a logic 0 in register 1, bits 6 or 7 (depending on which amplifier of TOA6130A2) to disable the output amplifier.

To set HiZ:               Reg1's bit 6&7 are '0', and reg3's bit 1&0 are '1'.

To enable amplifier:  Reg1's bit 6&7 are '1', and reg3's bit 1&0 are '0'.

I also verify my setting by read back the reg value.

The TPA6130A2 device consists of two amplifiers. It seems you are setting both amps to high-z and disable or both two non high-z and enable. One amp should be disabled and placed in high-z while the other drives the signal.

I think you misunderstand my design, I am using 2 TPA6130A2 IC for 2 line in stereo sources, and output to one stereo headphone.

Working condition concept:

1) when line1 IC is enable, line2's IC output will set to HiZ, where HPout will have audio from line1.

2) when both ICs are enable, HPout will have both audio.

Original design:

Both ICs' stereo output are connected together, when either IC is enable, there is short detected on HPout on both conditions.

After design change:

If both ICs' stereo output are added with series output capacitor, then both line sources audio will be appeared on HPout.

Thank you for clarifying. Configuration 1 is where you are seeing issues. Does the configuration not work for either amplifier? I am wondering if the series capacitor is adding any issues.

If there is no series output capacitor, there will have no audio from the either amplifier, in any condition.

Can you please help to share the scope images of the output from the high z amp (before cap), amp playing audio (before cap), and output mixed (after cap) so I can analyze further?

I also want to reiterate that this is not a recommended configuration of the device.
