TAS6424E-Q1: When will DC fault be reported?

Hi Teams,

My customer disconnected all 4 speakers, then all 4 channels can report open circuits. But cannot report DC faults.

And I haven't found any DC faults/DC detection description, can you kindly help to reply what kind of scenario, will make DC faults reported?

    Hi Marsh,

    The DC faults you are looking at is a DC Offset Fault.  It will indicate a DC offset in the amplifier.  To test this, you need to bypass the high pass filter in register 0x01 and provide a DC digital signal to trigger the DC offset.  This is not the same as DC Load diagnostics.
