Hi,

Besides the changes stated in datasheet, section 1.3 (from TAS5504 to TAS5504A). Are there any more differences? TI product search tool shows more differences compared to datasheet changes.

My main concern is whether TAS5504A is considered a replacement for TAS5504. If yes, we might just go ahead with the design of the "A" version

    Hi, Lee,

    TAS5504A should be the latest (and greatest) part, so you should use it.

    HOWEVER, I believe 5504A is going to be set to NRND very soon. The replacement will be TAS5508C. Basically, once we set a part to NRND, it is still fully available for ordering, but we don't dedicate resources to supporting customer questions as much.

    So, if this is for a new design, you should look at TAS5508C instead.
