TLV320ADC5140: TDM4 mode

Hi all,

is my understanding correct that the TLV320ADC5140 does not support TDM4 mode?

The figures in ch 8.3.1.2.1 of the datasheet all show Slot 0 to Slot 7 but a combination of 48 kHz FSYNC and 6.144 MHz BCLK is allowed (only for 16 bit, then?)

Hello Rainer,

The equation BCK= number of channels x Channel depth x Fs

dictates the relationship between these parameters. For 4 channels and 48KHz, data depth should be 32bit if your BCK is 6.144M.

And in that case, the ADC spits out 4 channels of 32 bit samples in four slots?

With the above clks, you should get 4 channels of 32bit depth.
