CC8521 USB dongle driver

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC8521

Should a CC8521 USB dongle when connected to a USB port on a Windows PC cause Windows to search for a audio device driver? Where can I find the Windows drivers? The CC Configurator only comes with Cebal drivers which do not list the CC8521. Currently the dongle I built does not prompt Windows to do anything. It has been programmed as a USB master transmitter.

  • Hi Jens, The USB FW uses standard audio classes and should not need any drivers in windows. There is a compability matrix document on the start page of the configurator that list the different OS support. Have you looked at the audio properties on your PC too see if it is recognized as a sound card or similar??
