OPA2134: Replacement for this for rail to rail behavior

Part Number: OPA2134
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2141, , OPA1622

Tool/software:

I am using this in some audio circuitry. I am looking for a lower cost alternative that has the same small signal performance and behaves the same when driven into the supply rails. What parts do you suggest in this case?

Also the DIP version has gone obsolete. Should I be concerned about the SOIC version also going obsolete anytime soon?

  • Hi Charles,

OPA2134's p2p replacement is OPA2141. There are also other great audio amplifier, see the comparison overview table below.

If the audio amplifier requires to drive a wide range of load, then OPA1622 may be an option. Lower cost auto amplifiers may be OPA1678/OPA1688 or similar, see link below.

Should I be concerned about the SOIC version also going obsolete anytime soon?

Below is the audio op amp selection in Class AB categories.

The OPA2134 is still active. If this is a new design, I would recommend to pick the latest audio amplifiers for your product.

If you have other questions, please let me know.

    Best,

    Raymond
