PCM6260Q1EVM-PDK: Request access to the PCM6260Q1EVM-PDK.

Part Number: PCM6260Q1EVM-PDK

Hello,

The PPC3 software shows "Available EVM APPS" only lists I2C Master. The user guide mentions that I can apply for access through the link www.ti.com/tool/PCM6260Q1EVM. However, this link is not working. Could you please help me get access? Thank you!

Regards,

Xiaoyu Zhang

  • Hi Garret,

I clicked on the access link you provided. Do I need to download the file corresponding to the arrow on the image and install it on my computer?

Why there is no response after I click the install button in PPC3?

    Regards,

    Xiaoyu Zhang

  • Hi Xiaoyu,

Yes this is correct. When you click install, you should see it begin installing. If you get no response, I suggest signing out and back in, restarting your PPC3, or restarting your computer.

    Best,

    Garret

  • Hi Garret,

I have two issues that I cannot resolve. First, when I try to download the file from the link you provided ( https://www.ti.com/secureresources/PCM6260QEVM-SW), the download does not succeed, and it always shows a download failure. If I cannot obtain this file, does it mean I cannot use the EVM-SW on the PPC3?

The second question is, when I failed to download the aforementioned file, the PPC3 software displayed the PCM6XX0 application below. After I clicked on the yellowish icon, the following information was shown. Does this mean that using the PCM6XX0 plugin has a requirement for the version of the installed PPC3 software? The version of PPC3 I currently have installed is 3.3.0.

    Regards,

    Xiaoyu Zhang

  • Hi Xiaoyu,

I am not sure why the download fails on your machine, I can successfully download it on my end.

I am confused how it shows up in PPC3 if not properly downloaded. Maybe that is why you are receiving the error.

Your version of PPC3 is up-to-date. I suggest deleting all the PCM6xx0 tar.gz files you have already, restarting your machine, and trying again from scratch. If that does not work, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling PPC3 as well.

    Best,

    Garret
