DRC on tlv320aic3204

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3204

Hello everybody --

We are working with the tlv320aic3204 on a custom board and see some strange behavior when activating the drc. To monitor the drc, we poll the drc interrupt bits in register 46, bit 2 and 3. For drc settings from -3dB to -12dB this bits behave as one would expect it. But setting the drc to more than -12dB (-15, -18,...) results in the following behavior:

The bits  are set to 1 at a special level (that seems to be right so far). But now, while decreasing the inpult level, the hysteresis seems to be even bigger than the 3dB we set it to. The bits stay 1 for more than 20dB until they get cleared. As far as I can see, the drc itself works correct, even for the higher drc rates but the main problem seems to be the interrupt bit.

Best regards --
