4-CH line in/out at the same time on AIC3106

Dear all,

The AIC3106 just supports 2xDAC and 2xADC. But my requirement is 4CH line in and 4CH line out simultaneously. Can AIC3106 work with this condition?

    Hi OC,

    This will depend on your usage case. The AIC3106 has 6 inputs and 7 outputs that can all be used at the same time. However, the inputs will need to be mixed using the internal mixers and the outputs will also be mixed. If you need 4 independent inputs and outputs, you would have to use a different part such as the AIC34 (or two stereo devices such as the AIC3106).
