PCM1803 - Can I output 8-bit data @ 8kHz like on the AIC3204?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV320AIC3204, PCM1803

Hello, without going into too many details, on a TLV320AIC3204, if I provide the BCLK pin with a 128kHz signal (50% duty), the result is that the data on the DOUT pin is 8 bits @ 8kHz and the WCLK is 16kHz (62.5us high for left channel, 62.5us low for right channel).

Is there a way to obtain 8 bit @ 8 kHz on a PCM1803? For the 3204, the datasheet does not provide information on how to obtain 8bits @ 8kHz - it was suggested by a TI employee on this board. There's also no such explanation for the 1803 in the datasheets.

Thank you.
