tlv320aic12k bias problem!!

Hi I needed some help. I am using the TLV320A1C1x for audio. All the clock signals and all pins are set properly (including pwrdwn',reset, micin, sclk, mclk, vdd)  but when i check for voltage on each point i am getting a zero at bias(pin 27) when it should be 1.35 or 2.35V.  Can somebody please tell me what change has to be done to the CODEC.  Thanks eagerly waiting for reply.

  • Neema, Can you power up the ADC at the end of the sequence, that is after all the signal routings are done. Alternatively try powering down and powering up ADC whenever you need to record.

  • Could you kindly elaborate on powering up at end of the sequence. And i did try powering up and down the ADC but it dint work. Is the bias output voltage dependent on some input pin by any chance and is there any other enable pin other than reset' and powerdwn'?
