I had already posted this question before but I have some unresolved doubts.
I am planning use my PCM3070 as an adder of 4 analog inputs. As its registers are volatile RAM based I will need an external processor to configure the registers each time it is booted. I am planning to use an MSP430 for this. Is it possible to set the registers of the PCM3070 over the SPI/I2C interface by writing an appropriate code for it?
I am not planning to store a ~.cfg file as slated in the previous thread. I just want the PCM 3070 configured each time I boot it. If it is possible in that case I may have to select an MSP430 with a flash memory size large enough to store that code. I hope I have made my query clear.( Note that I am not using an EEPROM )
