OPA2134 performance Vs supply voltage

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2134, OPA134

The OPA2134 shows THD+N vs frequency at +-(16/17/18)V, and that it worsens as the supply voltage decreases.. but the 2134 supports all the way down to +-2.5V.. so what happens below 16V? How would the performance vary between using +-(5/10/15)V supplies? output voltage of c. 2V if that is relevant

  • Hi M.B.

Typically the performance of op amps remain constant for the standard supply voltages that you specify; ie +/-5V - +/-18V. This can be seen from the datasheet statement quoted from the Apps Information Section as stated below:

    OPERATING VOLTAGE
OPA134 series op amps operate with power supplies from
±2.5V to ±18V with excellent performance. Although
specifications are production tested with ±15V supplies,
most behavior remains unchanged throughout the full
operating voltage range. Parameters which vary significantly with operating voltage are shown in the typical
    performance curves.
