Is jitter presented on the MSCLK, BLCK, LRCLK directly coupled in the audio signal or is it resampled using the crystal clock of the TAS5518C ?

Or is it of any use to get the I2S signals arriving to the TAS5518C as clean as possible(Which signals affect the output quality of the PWM signal)?

Hi Egbert,

Yes, try to have a clean I2S signals for TAS5518C. The master clock will be used for post processing in the digital audio processor and will have influence in the sound.

Hi, Egbert,

Sorry we missed your follow-on question. The crystal is used to reference internal circuitry which then cleans up the clock, so jitter on the xtal shouldn't cause performance degradation of our device.
