PCM2900 with Microphone

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM2900

Hi, I'm a user who wants to use PCM2900 with speakerphone application.

I tried to connect PCM2900 with microphone and speaker, but it shows me very

strange output. (I tried to use PCM2900 both side and connected same way.)

When I send microphone signal from A->B, it goes well. But when I send signal

from B->A at the same time when A transfer signal to B, B cannot send signal

to A. It seems to me it does not support full duplex. (In main feature of PCM2900

shows me 'USB Asynchronous Mode for Record. It seems to me it is not full duplex)

I saw some information in reference manual, I need to set the Alternative setting

with transfer mode Synchronous. However, I have no idea to seting it. Should I

do that with windows driver side? or I can set those with external microcontroller?

If I need to set it with microcontroller, I can do it also but I need to see the signal

diagram and circuit to connect.

Is this correct that PCM2900 cannot send any data with full duplex in default setting?

I'm just making speakerphone cause data rate is not important cause sampling rate

is not a big deal.
