Too much noise in data using PCM4201 A/D

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM4201

We design a device using the PCM4201.

The analog section is a simply copy of the speck sheet figure 12, to witch I change value of R1 & R2 to get proper gain.

The MCU is an Atmel AVR that get the data from the A/D to store in a Secure digital card.

The MCU is supplied via a switching supply while the +5Vdc of the analog section use an LDO.

The power source is battery.

The PCB is a 4 Layers on witch we take many precautions to prevent noise from digital section to be carried to the analog section.

Anyway, while recording a zero signal input, the lower 8 bits of the 24 bits data is random noise.

Did someone have any explication on the situation, any hints how to lower that noise.

Bye
