Software for TLV320AIC23EVM2 Eval Board gives "EPrivilege" error

I have one TLV320AIC23EVM2 Eval Board on my side and I have installed the software on the CD. But it prompts "EPrivilege" Error Message when I open DASCCT_AIC23.exe. I rebooted the computer as prompted but the error remains.

 

Please advise. I am running 32-bit Windows 7.

    Hi, Stuart,

    I checked into this, and this EVM was developed more than 12 years ago, and we have not updated it to be compatible with Win7.

    If you have an I2C tool, you can simply program the device as it has a limited number of registers.
