TPA4411 Workaround of Pop Noise

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA4411, TPA6132A2, TPA6133A2

Hi,

Our customers have designed on page 3 of TPA4411 user's guide as below.
However, when they return to normal mode from shut-down mode, the pop noise occurs.
So, could you please tell us the workaround of it?
They used pins of SDR and SDL instead of the mute function.

Best Regards,
Kato

  • Hi, Kato-san,

Unfortunately, this device pops, and the only work-around would be to add external circuitry on the outputs to clamp them. I don't have a circuit to do this.

If they are flexible, and can change parts, TPA6132A2 is absolutely FABULOUS. ZERO pop, low noise, great fidelity.

if they need more power, than TPA6133A2 is the way to go. Very low pop, high output power, and fidelity.
