Hi,

Could you please tell us whether we can obtain each audio output as the synchronous output by setting the registers of SCR4194 if the audio sources of the different sampling rates are input to SRC4194 and are converted to the same sampling rate?
We will promote TPA505x family to our customer if impossible.

Hi Kato-san,

Yes, you will be able to take audio inputs at different rates at the inputs of the SRC4191 and be able to output them at the same rate using the same clocks for each output.

Could you please tell me how to configurate to get the synchronous outputs(SRC A and B audio outputs) concretely?
e.g. : both RCKIA and RCKIB ports should be input the same reference clock.

Hi Kato-san,

There are a couple ways to accomplish synchronized out puts, are you planning to run the outputs in master mode or in slave mode? Both the input and output per channel cannot be master at the same time. So you must have either the input or output as the slave. This means you could run the outputs as slave getting clocks from a single source or you can run the outputs as master and use the same clock for RCKIA and RCKIB.

I understood that I refer the mode selection which is mentioned on page 22 of data sheet as below and should use the best settings for the synchronous outputs.

Hi Kato-san,

If both RCKIA and RCKIB will have the same clock input, then any of the settings with output port being the master would be what you want. So 001, 010, or 011 depending on the audio sampling rate. This would allow you to have the inputs as slaves for the two different audio signals, then output them with a single clock and therefore will be synchronized.
