TLV320AIC3204 HPL Output Inverter?

Is there a setting on this device that would cause output from LDAC (positive terminal) to be inverted from received input from Data In pin?

Currently routing LDAC positive terminal to HPL and seeing the inverted signal sent to DIN.

Thanks in advance.

//Edit

For more information - I have the codec configured for differential output as in Figure 5-35 in the datasheet (LDAC positive to HPL, negative to HPR). I am seeing HPL and HPR as opposite of each other, but I would expect that HPL, hooked up to positive terminal of the DAC, would be the wave I passed into the DAC - when in fact HPR is that wave (I checked twice to make sure I was looking at the right signal!).

  • Hi Marshall

    How are you judging your digital wave's phase with respect to your output analog wave? We have a setting on Page0, register 64 bit D7 to let you help in Differential mode as LDAC output will be inverted with respect to RDAC.

    If possible can you send the register settings that you are using?
