TPA3116D2 Maximum Continuous Output Power

There are 2 channels in the TPA3116D2. I would like to know  what is the maximum output power at 2ohm, 4 ohm and 8 ohm load with 24V power supply PER CHANNEL.

The datasheet curves does not mention whether the curve is for per channel or both channel. Also its missing curve for 2 ohm load.

    Hi, Roomi,

    It all comes down to your external heat sink. If it can dissipate the heat, then the part can deliver the power.

    For 2 ohms, BTL is not supported. You must use PBTL if you want to drive 2 ohms.

    I might suggest you acquire on of our EVMs and test it out to see if the product suits your needs. TPA3116D2EVM
