Anyone know the format of the output data? For example, I have the left and right channel output of 16-bits each. So, what is the format?
Signed, unsigned, two's complement, etc?
Does 0x0000 represent the lowest value and 0xFFFF the highest? With respect to what? Voltage?
I have the Altera Cyclone 2 board. Right now all that can be done is to receive the 32-bit samples and send them back. Any filtering produces noise. The TLV320AIC23 data sheet says nothing about the format.
Disappointing the TLV320AIC23 engineers did not state the format.
