LM48100-Q1 Speaker open and short circuit detection

Hello,

Please answer following question about LM48100-Q1

I need integrated speaker open/short detection function, and LM48100-Q1 has it.

But I don’t want to use I2C if possible and want to conform I can use LM48100-Q1 without I2C.

I know that speaker open and short diagnostics is only performed once after power up if I don’t use I2C.

And I want to confirm if initial register settings (for example gain etc.) are acceptable for our application, but

LM48100-Q1 datasheet doesn’t have initial (default) value after power up.

Please fill initial value on attached file, and advise concerns for not using I2C.

Hello,

Please answer additional question.

Datasheet has following specification.
-RSHT Output to Output Short Circuit Detection Threshold: 2ohm min, 6ohm max
But some characteristics graph are with RL=4ohm condition.

Does this RSHT specification means that I can’t use 6ohm speaker when I need speaker open detect function?
