TAS5414C-Q1 Capacitance on A_BYP and D_BYP

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5414C-Q1

Hi, Team,

I have a question for TAS5414C-Q1.

What I want to know are bellows.

Is it OK to put 1uF cap on A_BYP and D_BYP? (I know it's not recommended by datasheet.)

-I guess the reason is related with phase shift...

if it's NG the same comment as datasheet, why is it not recommended?

Thank you for your support in advance.

Best regards,

Koh

  • Hi Koh,

You would not gain anything by increasing the capacitance on these pins.  The internal power supplies have been optimized for stability with a 0.1uF capacitance.  The stability of the internal power supply could not be guaranteed if a 1uF is used.
