Hi All,

Is there a problem with the PCM4222 ADC when it runs at 96KHz? Apparently it is more noisy?

Could you help me solve this issue with a solution?

Hi Jack,

The clock ratios and clock rates in relation to the sample rate can have an impact on the performance. For each sampling rate there is an optimal ratio for the master clock and setting for the part. What are the clocks you are using?

The clocks are: LRCLK = 96k, MCLK = 12.288M, BCLK = 6.144M. At 48k they were MCLK = 12.288M and BCLK = 3.072M.

Are these the optimal ratios?

Hi JAck,

These clocks seem fine, can you give me more details on the noise? Is it tonal or broadband? Do you have an FFT or AP test results?
