Hello:

I've used the TI TLV320AIC20K on several designs and I have a new design for which I'd like to use the part also.  

I need to know if I can connect phone lines (600 ohm impedance) to any of the inputs / outputs other than the LINE IN / LINE OUT pins.  If so, which inputs / outputs would you suggest using?

Any feedback or input is welcomed and appreciated!

    Hi, Paul,

    Each input and output lines are designed for different impedance values. As you may see in recommended operating conditions section, the line outputs are designed to be used with 600 ohm impedance. Using a different value than the recommended operating conditions suggests could cause less performance in the device. This means that the SNR, THD, THD+N could be different than expected. So, we don't recommend to use another input/output than the LINE IN /LINE OUT for this impedance value.
