TPA2008D2 SHUTDOWN timing

Hi Team,

customer is query if we have timing chart to show the SHUTDOWN# v.s LOUTP/N, ROUTP/N signal? Since they got some audio CODEC software driver issue, so they wants to know when they switch the SHUTDOWN# signal from low to high, how long the LOUTP/N, ROUTP/N signals will be active? Do we have timing chart to show these signals relationship?

your prompt response and advise for this issue clarify is very appreciated.

Regards,

Arthur

  • Hello Arthur

I don't have an EVM of this device right now, but I have already requested it. I'll come back to you with more information in a few days.

  • Arthur,

Sorry for the delay, but I hadn't gotten an EVM to perform this test. You should take into account that the start-up time depends on bypass capacitor, you can refer MIDRAIL BYPASS CAPACITOR section of the amplifier's datasheet to find further information.
I made the test under the following conditions Vdd=5V, RL= 8Ω, Gain= 0 dB and Cbyp=1uF. I got a start-up time of 766ms in output left and 762ms in the output right.
Please let me know your opinion.
