Hi,

What is (are) the best suited and in production low power amplifier(s) for driving piezo speakers like Sonitron's SCS series:

LM48560/LM48580 or TPA2100P1 or else?

    Hi Bruno,

    All three devices you listed are active and are good choice for piezo speaker applications.
    LM48560 is able to use both software (I2S) and hardware control with different gain levels for each configuration.
    LM48580 is a hardware control only device with gain and shutdown control.
    TPA2100P1 is a hardware control only device with gain and shutdown controls. Shutdown control are individual for the amplifier only and the entire device.
