PCM1861EVM PCM9211 connection

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM9211, PCM1861EVM, PCM1862

I have the PCM1861EVM running and have a few questions concerning its connections to the PCM9211

1  The PCM9211 states on page 25, its data sheet, to use MPIO_B for an external DAC for speeds up to 192kHz.  The PCM1861EVM uses MPIO_C.  Is this because C is the default input and by routing the clock lines out of the PCM9211 and back into C this eliminates the need to program B?  I would like to use this device in hardware mode running 256 divider and speeds up to 192Khz based on the speed of the CMOS Clock.

2 Related to the first question, if the PCM9211 is running in hardware mode, how does it know to take the input from default MPIO_C, RIXN2 or RIXN0 and send it to the default out MPO0?  Is it just which ever is active?

3  The PCM1862 can run at clock speeds of up to 50mhz.  With a 256 divider ratio this gives a 192khz LRCK fs.  Can the PCM9211 run at a 49.152mhz clock so that the PCM1862/9211 can use the default 256 divider to supply a 192kHz sampling rate.  This is of course based on my understanding that 256 is the default divider ratio

Thank you
