LM4819: Volume control using digipot in feedback

Hi,

I plan to add volume control using a digipot in feedback path of LM4819. Is this a good option or is there a better alternative?

The amplifier gain would be less than 10 so as per datasheet Cf is not required across the digipot.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

    Hello Chetan,

    Welcome to E2E, thanks for your interest in our products.
    You shouldn't have any problem using a digipot in feedback. As the datasheet mention, Cf is not required when the amplifier's gain is less than 10.
