TPA5051EVM: how to get the TI input usb board

Part Number: TPA5051EVM
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TAS5622A, TAS5614, TAS5624A

I received a tpa5051evm board. The pdf document mentioned a "TI input-usb board". Please tell me how to get the "TI input usb board".

  • Hi Nemo,

It is possible to use the TPA5051EVM without an Input USB board with this device as it takes in I2S and outputs I2S and is controlled by I2C, therefore any device that will output I2S can be used with the inputs, and you can configure the device with I2C from any device. You will just need to find a way to connect those signals to the headers. If you do want to use it with the TI Input USB Board, you can order a TAS5624A, TAS5622A, TAS5612, or TAS5614 EVM which comes with a Input USB Board.
