I need an audio amplifier, for human voice frequencies.

1 channel.

8 Ohm load impedance.

1-2 Watt.

Is TPA4860 is the right solution?

Hi Eli,

Is Class-D an option for your applications?
Perhaps you could take a look at newer devices like TPA2005D1. Or if you need a Class-AB amp you could take a look at devices like TPA6205A1.

Do you have such a class-D amplifier with gain control? (Volume control).
Like this one PAM8003DR from Diodes LTD

I think the only device that has DC volume control is TPA2008D2.
Although this is a relatively old device and support for this specific device may be difficult.
