CCS/PCM1865EVM: Using the 1865 evm with cc3200 launchpad

I am trying to use the 1865 evm together with a cc3200 launchpad. It seems that the pcm1865 registers can be set and read using the I2C but whenever I read the 9211 registers I get zero value. So I expect I cannot set the 9211 registers either. It is strange but I get an OK return code. I am using the I2C address 0x41.

Can anybody help?

Hi,

Thanks, but it does not solve my problem. I can now see I have 3 I2c 7bit addresses responding:

0x4a: 1865

0x41: ?? 9211

0x18: ??

But the last two does not make any sense. I can read the registers, but I cant interpret the result.

I am somewhat puzzeled with the 0x41 address, according to the 9211 documentation it should be 0x40.

When I use the USB adapter and set up the board using the PurePath Console every thing is OK.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Sorry I was not aware of that you need an external 3.3 V supply for the pcm9211, the onboard 3.3 V supply is only for the pcm 1865

Now I can set and read the 9211 registers using address 0x40 as expected.
