TAS5715: Maximum Output power

Hi,

What is the maximum possible output power to a 4E 40W speaker using this configuration? Is there any registers' dependency to get maximum output?

Hi KN,
From the picture, PVDD power supply voltage is 20V, right? Please refer to the Figure 30 in TAS5715 datasheet www.ti.com/.../tas5715.pdf. You can see that the output power could reach more than 40W with 1% THD on 4Ohm load in PBTL mode. Please pay highly attention to the thermal performance in our layout design, because in this case, the output power is pretty high. Please also make sure the output current is accepatable for the inductors in the output filter. The maximum output power can be limited by AGL/DRC. Please refer to the induction on Page 35~37 in the datasheet.
