Part Number: TAS5731

We use Bluetooth chip BM23 of Microchip.

and design TAS5731 according to TAS5731 EVM.

The board came out, unable to make a sound.

The schematic diagram is as attached

Leo,

1. probe OUT_x pins, is there PWM switching? if there is no switching, it is in shutdown mode. check register setting sequence.

2. please help confirm IIS data/BCLK/LRCLK is ok?

3. how is the IIC initial sequence? please check if it follow the steps on datasheet Page 31.

MCLK pin should be supplied with a N*Fs frequency(refer to datasheet table of page 38), and this clock should be from the same clock tree of IIS. but a special case is: if Fs is 44.1/48-kHz, you can simply connect MCLK to SCLK.

How to make this clock from the same clock tree of IIS?
Should I use Phase Locking Loop? did you have any suggestion?

Hi Leo,
SCLK clock can be used for MCLK input directly, as soon as the frequency is in the range of 2.8224~24.576MHz. Please also confirm the volume setting in the register is not too low.
