So a 0v centered input signal is not valid ?

INL pin and INR pin are biased at AVCC/8 internally, you could find this info on in the table on Page 4 in the datasheet. In the Figure 28 in the datasheet, you could find that there are 1uF DC blocking capacitors on the input pins. So you can use 0 centerd input signal, and it will be biased at AVCC/8 after the input capacitors.
