TPA3116D2: TPA3116D2 Mono and Three Speaker Setup

I have two questions on the TPA3116D2 circuitry. The first has to do with Mono Mode. When connecting INPL and INNL directly to ground, does this set the device in Mono mode for Mono Input with Mono Output or Stereo Input with Mono Output? The second question: is it possible to connect three speakers in Stereo Mode with one Left, one Right and one being Center (or Mono)?

    Hi Tim,
    With connecting INNL and INNP directly to GND, the device will work in mono mode, the signal on the right channel input is enlarged and outputed on the output pins. In this case, there is no input actually on left channel. The device can be used in either BTL mode or PBTL mode, but it can be used for both modes at the same time. Please find more info in section 7.2.1 in the datasheet.
