Can I get some help in trying to get your EVM board to operate properly in PBTL mode. I have tried two units so far and when as configure as the User Guide instructs all I get is a a pulsed DC offset on the outputs.
Thanks

Dylan and Shawn,
I did short on two different boards JP5 and JP6 and both of them do not work. I have also shorted together as in the instructions R+ and R- as well as L+ and L-. I have attached my scope probe to the positions labeled L+ and R- to see the output. I am using a Siglent function generator as my input source. I am putting in 500mVpp sine wave as an input signal.
I will attach a picture of my setup.
I would appreciate some help ...I believe i have set this thing up just as the user guild states.
You mentioned JP7 shorted to SDz ... is the jumper supposed to shorted or removed.
Also what about JP1 ... with my Input being my function generator ... can i not uses it open or closed. when i leave it open and hook up my function generator it feeds back a fault into my siglent and trips its internal protection? I am confused by this also.
Scott
Hi Scott,
Looks like there is no obvious isse in your setup. One thing need to be noted is the input mode. If you are using single-ended input mode, the jumper JP1 and JP2 have to be closed. And if the deifferential input mode is used, the jumpper JP1 and JP2 have to be open.Could you please help to do the following experiment: 1. Keep the the current setup and disconnect the input cable from the RIN and LIN. 2. Make sure the PVCC is within the recommended operating range and power up the board. 3. Make sure there is no load/speaker connected on the output connecter. 4. Measure the waveform before the inductor L1~L4. 50% duty-cycle PWM is supposed to be seen if the board works normally. By this experiment, let's exclude the issue from power supply, input source and output load.
Best regards,
Shawn Zheng
