RC4560: Single supply voltage

I'm repairing a guitar amplifier which uses several RC4560D opamps.

The opamp uses a single supply voltage of -26V. I have some doubts about this.

According to the datasheet I can use a dual supply voltage of max 18V but I couldn't find anything about a maximum single supply voltage.

Is it ok to use -26V as supply voltage?

(I have the same question for the LM13700.)

I have found the answer by myself:

First, common op amps don’t have ground terminals. A standard op amp does not “know” where ground is so it cannot know whether it is operating from a dual supply (±) or from a single power supply. As long as the power supply, input and output voltages are within their operating ranges, all is good.

Hi Karel,

Welcome to e2e.
I'm glad you've find an answer to your questions. RC4560 specifies +/-18V max supply, which is a maximum 36V difference between VCC+ and VCC-. So -26V is fine.
