Hi,

TAS5630 datasheet is specifying that PBTL output power is 600W at 2 ohm and 300W at 4 ohm. Based on this information I am calculating the voltage as P = V*V/R, V = Sq root (P*R), V = Sq root (600 * 2) = 35V rms. I am using this voltage to calculate the output power at 8 ohm (35*35/8 = 150W) and 16 ohm (35*35/16 = 75W). As per my calculations the power delivered to the 8 ohm load is 150W and 16 ohm load is 75W. Is this approach correct.

Veera, you have done a little rounding to calculate 35V, but your calculations are essentially correct.
