What is the jumper configuration for connecting sidegig evm to TPA3244 EVM amplifier?
Hi Adam,
Thanks for the reply!.
Untill Ill get my final speaker, I'm trying to test the module with speaker taken from 60w crate guitar amp. I followed the steps in section 2.3. The 5v and 12v led didnt illuminate and had no response from the speaker.
1. Do I need to change the jumpers configuration because I'm using only one speaker?
2. What's the relation between power input and output?
Regards
Alon
Adam,
For not removinmg the resistors, I tryed to connect the speaker in PBTL mode configuration but still without success. Also noticed that the red LED on the sidegig module isnt lit. Do I still need to remove those resistors? If not what am I doing wrong. The switch is set to normal and I checked the speaker cnnections.
Alon,
The board will not work and will likely break if you do not remove the resistors as recommended. The EVM must be in BTL mode only.
The red LED is not needed, it's for the clean vs. drive selection. Only the green 12V LED is needed, if this is on, then the board is powered.

Adam,
I Thank you for your help!
I have removed the resistors (R4, R12, R44 & R46), changed the jumpers to BTL mode, connected speaker to OUT A and OUT B. But still nothing seems to happen.
Best Regards
Alon
Alon,
Do you have an oscilloscope so that you can look at the output of the amplifier before the LC filter?
