PCM5242RHBEVM: Can I run the PCM5242RHBEVM with purepath console?

Hi

As shown in the picture you uploaded, I set the source as S/PDIF and entered S/PDIF, but it's not working.

And the SRC READY and RX READY LEDs are not on.

1. Are there any other required setting?

2. Is there any way to supply an audio source via USB?

Hi Sujin,

You can switch back to the USB input by clicking the USB icon in the PPC2 software. In addition, you should make sure that the jumpers are in the correct position as indicated in the software. Make sure that the PPC2 shows that the EVM is connected in the bottom left corner. You should also ensure that the EVM is selected as the default audio device in Windows sound control panel.

I have one more question.

I can't detect S/PDIF or Optic input on PCM5242EVM board.

I selected Coax in on PurePath Console, but SRC READY and RX READY LEDs are not on when i plugged S/PDIF cable.

Is there a problem with my board?
