I have the tas5753mdevm and purpath motherboard. I have requested access for the PurePath gui software twice with no response. Please let me know what I can do to download the software in order to use my EVM.

Hi Matt,
So you have already installed the Purepath Console software, right? Now you want to access PPC software and TAS5753MD plug-in, right? Could you please let me know your TI account? I will forward your request to my colleague.

Hi Shawn, I don't have the purepath console software yet. That's what I'm trying to acquire. I've requested a few times now from www.ti.com/.../purepathconsole with no reply. I didn't realize there was a separate TAS5753MD specific piece of software so I just requested that as well. I'm not sure what you mean but TI account other than the account I'm logged in as.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your explanation. Now I understand it. Could you please send me your TI account? I will find the administrator to grant the access to PPC3 software and TAS5753MD plug-in to you ASAP.

mattholland,org is a company email. I'm a one person company that does electronics design on contract.

Thanks Shawn. Much appreciated. Also...

-Is there anything else I can do to speed this process up? I've had the EVK on my desk now for 2-3 weeks. Our prototype hardware arrives this week and I'm losing valuable time.

-Was my initial request denied because it was decided I wasn't a company? If so I'd like to know on what grounds that decision was made so I don't have to go through this process next time.

-Just for my own curiosity, what difference would it make if I wasn't a company? Surely there are hobbyists wanting to use your products as well. It's strange that anyone can buy the hardware, but not receive the software required to actually use it.

Hi Shawn, it looks like I was granted access to the TAS5753MD portion of the software, however I still do not have access to the purepath console sw.

Hi Shawn,

I was granted access to the purepath console (probably from emailing audio_software@ti.com). This is what I see which is good. The problem I'm having now is that after installing and running purepath console, and loggin in, there is no "Purepath update available" icon.

It looks like this is only an issue with the mac version of the app. It shows up on the windows version so I'll use that. thx for your help.
