TLV320AIC3110: TLV320AIC3110

Part Number: TLV320AIC3110

Sir,

We setting  pag1/Register 42(0x2a) set to 0x00, It should means mute(no output sound) due to D2 is "0" but we still can hear sound from speaker.

Do you have idea what we can check?

Thanks, Ian.

  • Ian,

a few things. The first would be to make sure that the speaker you are hearing sound from is the Left speaker. The AIC3110 is a stereo device, and SPL is controled by pg1/Reg42, but SPR is controlled by PG1,Reg43.

if it is the left register, you should read back the value of reg42 to ensure that you wrote to it.

PG1/Register 38 and 39 are the Analog volume to the SPL and SPR and you can also mute here.

    best regards,
    -Steve Wilson
