TPA5050: What Different Between 0 Delay and Bypass Mode With the TPA5050

As title,

1. Does the TPA5050 change I2S DOUT format with the configuration register's setting?
2. What different between the Bypass mode at 0x01 and 0 delay at 0x02~0x05?

Hi Wayne,

1. Bit 0 and Bit 1 will determine the format that is output from the TPA5050, unless bypass mode is selected. If bypass mode is selected, the input format will be the output format.
2. The bypass in the format selection and the no delay selection in the audio delay register will both remove any delay from the input to the output. The difference will be if you want a certain output format different from the input or not.
