I have one additional question.

Do you know why Theta Jc is bigger than Theta Ja ?

In general, Theta Ja equal sum of Theta Jc and Theta Ca. So we think Theta Ja is bigger than Theta Jc.

Perhaps this is related to the thermal pad on the bottom of the package.

Hello Ivan-san,

I confrimed datasheet of TPA6111A2(This device also have thermal pad and same package(DGN)).

Then I found thermal information as shown below.

Theta Ja is bigger than theta jc in this device.

This device is not TPA6110A2 but this is included in same family.

So, could you please re-confirm following information ?

Machida-san,

The data from the previous e2e post should be correct, as this was provided in two different times by the packaging team.
There is no detailed information about possible internal differences that could cause this difference.

Umm, so the difference I can concider is only whether TI estimate same conditon b/w TPA6110A2 and TPA6111A2 or not.

(Because package size and thermal pad size are same. And since spec is similar, I guess die size may be same.)

Is it possible to confirm evaluation environment for TPA6110A2 and TPA6111A2 ?

Machida-san,

Right now Theta(JA) highly depends in several system level aspects, as the device packages tend to dissipate more heat through the board. It is not correct to assume that Theta(JA) = Theta(JC)+Theta(CA). So the condition that Theta(JA)>Theta(JC) is not a must.
