Hi,
I'm trying to interface a PCM5102A with an FPGA which generates arbitrary waveforms. The problem I'm facing is that no output it present from the DAC side and parallel output from FPGA is correct. My question is are my frequencies supported by the DAC?or do they have to strictly be audio supported frequencies?
Right now for testing I'm generating a 12Mhz (MCK), 6Mhz (SCK/BCK) and 93.750kHz (LRCK).
My transmission is correctly encoded, as i2s protocol decoder in my logic analyzer displays correct behavior and output.
In the future I'll be changing the frequencies to 16.777216Mhz (MCK), 8.388608Mhz (SCK/BCK) and 131.072kHz (LRCK), so that I can output with a 0.5Hz resolution from FPGA so the sampling frequency is important to me and don't wish to change it.
Thanks
