The following error occurs when the GUI software is downloaded from the web and installed :
The Windows Installer engine is corrupt. To attempt to resolve this issue, please register the engine by running regsvr32.exe on msi.dll.
The error still occurs when you run regsvr32.exe on msi.dll.
Is that because the GUI software is old?
My PC is Windows 7 64-bit. Is this a problem?

Yes, the Installer is a little old. We need to update it, and we are in the process of doing so, but it will take some time.
for now, there is a workaround.
first navigate to the folder where the Setup.exe file is located, then Right click the setup.exe file and click troubleshoot program
Then click "try recommended settings"
Followed by "start program"
That should get you through the install without issue.
Sorry for the installation troubles, I hope to have this GUI updated soon.
