We are seeing similar issues to the thread below, where the I2C bus locks up. Replacing the SRC4382 resolves the problem. The issue may be batch related as we have used this part in the existing design for quite a few years now and and only recently (since about Q4 2017) we are getting the occasional device the exhibits this problem.
