Blast from the Past! 1980 NSC Audio/Radio Handbook!

We've gotten several requests for this, so here it is!

Sorry the scan isn't 100% clear, but the print quality of the book from 1980 wasn't the best.

LM1876 Non-isolated package connection

The LM1876 is available in two package options, an isolated 15-lead TO-220 style package and a non-isolated 15-lead TO-220 style package. Both versions have the same pinout (shown in the data sheet).

For the non-isolated version, the metal tab is internally connected to VEE. So, if a grounded heat sink is used, external isolation will be required.

LM4755 thermal tab connection

Q: Should they connect the heat sink to ground or Vdd? I did not see the connection suggestion in the datasheet.

A: The tab is physically tied to pin 5, so the pad on the PCB should be the same potential as that connected to pin 5.

LM4935 GUI

This zip file contains the GUI for the LM4935. Unfortunately, due to it's age, it may only operate in Windows XP.

If you can't get this GUI to run on your set-up, please use a stand-alone I2C tool and the register map in the data sheet.
